self-righteous people are a pet peve in themselves to me. i'd rather befriend an honest drug addict than an uppity-ne'er do wrong-hypocrite >.<

very impactful too. it seems almost as if it's coming from a speaker that has been personally wronged by somebody who takes virtues and morals too seriously, almost to a comical (yet pitiful) level. perhaps a former close friend who is now shunning him/her because of some mistake or tempation that had been succumbed to. haha, sorry, my imagination ran away with me >.> a writer thing, as you more than likely know, lol :)
